I’m a software engineer specializing in backend development.

In my career I’ve worked in startups and small-to-mid-sized companies, where I’ve built mission-critical systems including:

• A telephony system that handles calls for thousands of car dealerships across the US.
• Systems used in manufacturing process automation.
• And even Windows apps used in multiple industries (banking, telecom).

Some of my favorite experiences have been working directly with customers and end-users to solve problems. It’s satisfying to see my work being used to help others succeed.

And along the way I’ve published several widely-used NPM modules, helped developers use AI more effectively, and met colleagues who became friends.

I live with my family in Vancouver, Washington, USA, where we enjoy access to nature including the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
